Tippi Hedren (most famous for her lead role in Alfred Hitchcock's movie The Birds)  founded the Shambala Preserve, an organization that cares for wild and exotic animals.  Please consider donations, or adopting one of the animals and providing for their care.  Also, write to your elected official(s) in Washington DC and ask them to support the Shambala bill!

PETA - People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals
I don't necessarily agree with everything PETA does, but their website contains important information that I've never found on a more "mainstream" site.  Special commendations go to their fact sheet area - many topics are covered.
